Peter Parker swings to the top of the power rankings for the second time in 2018, but it’s a modest victory as far as Spider-Man is concerned. Spidey scored 11 points and shares the “Hero of the Week” title with a character desperate for the recognition. Loki, a character already familiar with playing second fiddle to a larger-than-life hero, missed out on securing the top spot for himself despite one of his best weeks in the League. The God of Mischief also lost the title of Sorcerer Supreme in the Doctor Strange book. Not one to surrender the lead without a fight, Logan tied a quartet of heroes for third place with eight points. Falcon and Rogue, the main Avenger leads during No Surrender, joined Logan in third, as well as the magical duo of Doctor Voodoo and Doctor Strange. Young Cyclops claimed eighth place with seven points and was claimed by a symbiote in the X-Men: Blue book. Captain America, one hero who had shied away from the spotlight during his redemption arc, and Marvel Girl, a hero who has shied away from her destiny, closed out the top 10 rankings with six points. Old Man Hawkeye and Spiderling, fantasy rookies and wildcards, finally notched some points, but not enough to make a statement as they finished the week with three points.
Hero and power usages are a combination of all Fantasy Comic League divisions: Asgard, Danger Room, Knowhere, Latveria, Midtown, Multiverse and Wakanda. League participants should cross reference the official points with their hero roster and drafted powers for their heroes’ scores.
