Miles Morales continued to distance himself from the Spider-Man legacy to begin the month of December. In addition to venturing out to fight crime sans mask, he developed a new ability in his fight against Armadillo. Miles also separated himself from Peter Parker in the weekly Fantasy Comic League standings. The young spider-hero scored 10 points and earned his first “Hero of the Week” title of the year. His mentor followed closely behind in second place with nine points. Black Bolt had one of his better placements in the league with a third-place finish and eight points. Two more strangers to the top tiers tied for fourth place with seven points. Gwenpool and Iceman were both boosted by character development moments. Logan placed sixth place along with the Avenger lovebirds, Falcon and Thor. The trio scored five points. Six heroes rounded out the top ten when they tied for ninth place with four points. Cyclops leads another group of uncommon heroes in the tie: Clint Barton, Hercules, Loki, Nova and Venom.
Hero and power usages are a combination of all Fantasy Comic League divisions: Knowhere, Midtown, Multiverse and Wakanda. League participants should cross reference the official points with their hero roster and drafted powers for their heroes’ scores.
