The Spectacular Peter Parker finished the month of February with a dominant performance and 300th issue special. Spider-Man scored 17 points in three appearances. His milestone title featured Spider-Man defeating the Tinkerer with a bit of help from several other Fantasy Comic League heroes. He earned his second “Hero of the Week” title in the month. Deadpool continued to burn bridges with his role models, both in his own book and the team-up book with Spider-Man. Wade scored 14 points and tied Black Panther, a strong contender for Character of the Month, for second place. T’Challa finished his impressive movie month with a 13-point week. Cyclops came to his father’s rescue and came in at fourth place with 10 points. Spider-Gwen also scored 10 points to tie for fourth. Three Avengers tied for sixth place with nine points apiece, supported by their team up appearances in the Spectacular Spider-Man story. However, Human Torch remained frozen and removed from the playing board in “No Surrender.” Ms. Marvel and Thor, two heroines who had a rough go of the Fantasy Comic League in recent weeks, tied for ninth with eight points. Ms. Marvel remained absent from her own title. She relied on the Champions and Gwenpool for her only appearances this month. Two young super ladies who would make a formidable duo just missed out on placing in the top weekly rankings chart. Marvel Girl and Moon Girl scored seven points each. Logan finally took a break from appearing in at least one book every week so far this year. Even with the week in absentia, the Old Man remained in the overall hero lead, giving Peter Parker an early challenge to Marvel’s top hero.
Hero and power usages are a combination of all Fantasy Comic League divisions: Asgard, Danger Room, Knowhere, Latveria, Midtown, Multiverse and Wakanda. League participants should cross-reference the official points with their hero roster and drafted powers for their heroes’ scores.
