The Incredible Hulk returns to its old numbering during Legacy, and the planet Sakaar returns. Amadeus Cho is not the same Green Scar the Sakaarans used to know, but his strength still impresses as he smashes into their planet and the Fantasy Comic League’s leaderboard. Hulk takes the “Hero of the Week” title with 15 points thanks to his book plus the next chapter of the team up between the Champions and Avengers. In second place comes another character who benefited from the Legacy initiative and the Champions/Avengers story. The Mighty Thor comic reaches issue 100 with a giant-sized book featuring more Gods of Thunder than you can shake Mjolnir at. Jane scores 14 points. Deadpool, who scored 13 points, is being hunted by Quake in the Secret Warriors comic for his recent heel turn, leading him to seek asylum in space by unsuccessfully catching a ride with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Ms. Marvel is stretched between the Champions and Secret Warriors teams giving her a strong fourth place finish this week with 12 points. Cyclops and Logan are battling it out for most valuable X-Men character this month thanks to the Blue and Gold teams continued crossover. They tie Spider-Man in fifth place with 11 points each. Rounding out the top ten heroes are three more characters entangled with the Avengers and Champions story. Falcon is the third Avenger in the top ten, while Miles and Nova are the fourth and fifth members of the Champions in the upper tier. The three of them each score seven points. The remaining Champion, Viv Vision, also has a strong week with six points, but just misses out on the top ten placement. The X-Men’s weekly crossover remains a bit uneventful as the characters have yet to score points for more than just teaming up with each other.
Hero and power usages are a combination of all Fantasy Comic League divisions: Knowhere, Midtown, Multiverse and Wakanda. League participants should cross reference the official points with their hero roster and drafted powers for their heroes’ scores.
