Peter Parker is feeling the pressure like never before in the Fantasy Comic League. After the first 10 weeks of the year, Spider-Man and Logan are tied for the overall points lead with Spidey having a slight advantage when it comes to his points per appearance. The second week of March breaks their tie, but not by much. Spider-Man edges out Logan by one point to earn his fourth “Hero of the Week” title of the year. He notches 13 points to Logan’s 12. The battle may not have as much longevity as the year progresses since Old Man Logan seems to be stepping aside for his younger self’s return. Not one to let his two best buddies have all the fun, Deadpool comes in at third place with eight points. Falcon flies into fourth place with a supporting role in the Damnation event and his continued leading role in the weekly Avengers book.  Sam scored seven points. Scarlet Spider’s solo title dives into Damnation and magically ties him with Doctor Voodoo and Magik for fifth place at six points apiece. A five-way tie rounds out the top 10 list in week 11. The immortal Hulk lives up to the name as he is resurrected once more in the pages of Avengers. Lightning, the unsung hero of the event, unsuccessfully stands against him in the comic but stands with him in the power rankings with five points. Rogue and Squirrel Girl also have bit parts to play in Avengers and get the majority of their points in other books. The All-New Wolverine is the fifth hero to tally a five-point week. Due to an unfortunate possession, Doctor Strange falls short despite his starring role in Damnation, while the rest of the drafted Midnight Sons settle for small cameos while they wait for their own tie-in books to drop.

Hero and power usages are a combination of all Fantasy Comic League divisions: Asgard, Danger Room, Knowhere, Latveria, Midtown, Multiverse and Wakanda. League participants should cross-reference the official points with their hero roster and drafted powers for their heroes’ scores.
