The Mixed Marvel Arts Podcast closes out another controversial year! Shaun has reached a breaking point with Marvel and Brian has trouble choosing a side concerning the contentious Star Wars: The Last Jedi. While the hosts agree with several of the complaints fans had with Rian Johnson’s take on the Skywalker legacy, they can not condone a petition to have it vanish from existence like a force projection. Disney also makes waves when they complete a deal to buy a large portion of 20th Century Fox. Like all things these days, the merger is met with a healthy dose of both optimism and negativity. Brian and Shaun discuss the dynamics of this all too familiar discourse.
