it is an end of an era, as longtime Marvel architect Brian Michael Bendis steps away from Marvel after 17 years of influencing and creating dozens of characters and stories. It all started with Ultimate Spider-Man, and led to the creation of characters like Miles Morales, the formation of the New Avengers and events such as House of M and Secret Invasion. Celebrate the marvelous career of Bendis by entering our Bendis-themed giveaway featuring a lot of his most recent books. Bendis revisited the concept of the superhero civil war in 2016, but this time he pitted Captain Marvel against Iron Man. The two heroes fought an ideological battle on whether it was okay to prevent a foreseen future from happening. Civil War II featured one of Bendis’ most notable characters, Spider-Man Miles Morales, coming to terms with a future version of himself he was not prepared to see. The climax of the event also left Tony Stark in a coma, and opened the door for Riri Williams, another Bendis creation, to succeed Stark as the next armored-suit wearing hero, Ironheart. So we tossed both Spider-Man and Invincible Iron Man books into this giveaway as well. But that’s not all! We also included the Civil War II tie-ins from the X-Men and Spider-Man and a stretch of Uncanny Avengers books which crossed over the Civil War II event.
