Generations comes to an end, kicking off the Legacy era of Marvel Comics, and two of Marvel’s biggest legacy characters take the top honors. Sam Wilson ends his run as Captain America, but not until he lives a whole new life in the past and plays a crucial role in Steve Rogers’ history. He shares the “Hero of the Week” title with Thor, his amorous Avengers teammate. They both score 11 points. In addition to a starring role in Marvel Legacy, Jane Foster ends another Thor’s short run with the hammer in her own title. Doctor Strange aids the Infamous Iron Man in stopping Mephisto, earning nine points and a third place finish. The original Captain America hits the road in Marvel Legacy, scoring seven points and fourth place. Ironheart joins Cap and Thor in Marvel Legacy, but bumbles her first shot at assembling the Avengers! While not pleased with bearing witness to the smooching superheroes at the end of the book, she should be happy with her six points and fifth place. Famous X-couple, Cyclops and Marvel Girl, tie Captain Marvel and Groot with five points for a four-way tie for sixth place. Moon Girl is caught in a spider’s web, tying three Spider-centric characters (Miles, Venom and Ben Reilly) with four points to round out the top heroes of the final week of the month.

Hero and power usages are a combination of all Fantasy Comic League divisions: Knowhere, Midtown, Multiverse and Wakanda. League participants should cross reference the official points with their hero roster and drafted powers for their heroes’ scores.
