Star-Lord leads the cosmic heroes of the Fantasy Comic League in capturing the top five spots of the rankings. Peter Quill earns the “Hero of the Week” title with 10 points as his team of Guardians appear in three titles in May’s third week, including a body swapping plot in Mother Entropy. Gamora tallies eight points, good enough for third place, and Rocket scores seven, which puts him in fifth place. Captain Marvel joins the Guardians in appearing in the Secret Empire tie-in comics, Ultimates 2 and U.S.Avengers, which give a glimpse at how the space battle portion of the event is progressing. Carol earns nine points and takes second place. Thor, absent from the majority of Secret Empire, does enough damage in her comic to score eight points and tie Gamora for third. Steve Rogers shares the spotlight with himself in Secret Empire, but shares fifth place with Rocket Raccoon as they both score seven points. Deadpool and Groot follow him with five points each. Despite the latest X-Men: Gold comic being released, Jubilee manages to be the highest scoring X-Men as she kicks off Generation X. Logan and Storm only earn an appearance each in their X-team book.
Hero and power usages are a combination of all Fantasy Comic League divisions: Midtown, Multiverse and Wakanda. League participants should cross reference the official points with their hero roster and drafted powers for their heroes’ scores.
