Before Peter Parker swings back into theaters, Mixed Marvel Arts is holding an over-sized Spider-Man comics giveaway. The centerpiece of the giveaway centers around spider-scribe Dan Slott’s most recent Spider-event, “The Clone Conspiracy,” but we are also throwing in the three story arcs leading up to the event, an Amazing Spider-Man Annual, and the first three issues of the alternate universe series, Renew Your Vows! In “The Dark Kingdom,” Spider-Man goes up against Mr. Negative, the same bad guy who will be giving him grief in next year’s much-hyped Spider-Man PlayStation 4 game. “Scorpio Rising” sees Peter Parker exploit his global connections to combat the Zodiac. Next, a Secret Wars bad guy, Regent, carries over into the mainstream and challenges Spider-Man and his Avengers teammates for their powers, which leads to Mary Jane taking up the Iron Spider mantle.”Before Dead No More” leads into the main Clone Conspiracy series, which sees a new take on the Jackal plague Spider-Man with his typical cloning techniques. Renew Your Vows kicks off the ongoing series and focuses on a family of Spider-heroes, and the Amazing Spider-Man Annual sees long-time Spider-artist Humberto Ramos write his own story, as well as comedian Wayne Brady giving Spider-Man pointers on how to crack wise.
